I recieved an MIP/MIC the other night and the officer who filled out my citation form put down my correct licence number and name, but every other piece of information (address, height, eye color, hair color, etc) was incorrect. Is the citation still valid?

The citation can simply be amended to reflect the correct descriptive information if the registered information is correct. The prosecuting attorney would make that decision, or choose to nol pros the citation. If the prosecuting attorney does choose to prosecute, the judge could ultimately rule in your favor for the technical error. I guess it all depends on whether or not the prosecutor and/or judge is in a good mood at the time your case goes to trial. I hope this helps.

He can OBSERVE everything you say doesn't match your license accept your address. When he ran your license, the DMV may have given a different address than was listed on the license. None of that will get you out of the ticket anyway. Report It

You can bring it up when you go to the municipal court and sometimes you can get out of the ticket.

The citation is an 'information', not evidence in your case.

Where did he get the information? From you??

If so, in some states, you might be guilty of 'failure to identify' as you gave ficticious or incorrect information to the officer.

It's funny to me that people who get a citation refuse to accept responsiblity and understand there is accountability for all actions... instead they want to blame someone else, such as the officer in your case.
